I've just purchased the BTRDA Autosolo Championship winning 172. I was looking at how to improve the 1275 Micra my kids and myself have been sharing for the last two years for Autosolos and this was the most economic route!
Inevitably the 172 is way quicker than the 75bhp Micra (134k miles ago), but I'm making little changes to suit myself. The Momo wheel has to go for something with more dish.
I need time in the car to get used to it, so an event at Smeatharpe on 9th Jan (I have to see if I can win the ASWMC Autosolo Championship for a third year) and passenger rides at the Autosport Show should help.
Just sorting out little niggles with car right now, but it's a nice place to be with climate control , low noise, electric everything, room for my left foot, ... I can look at doing events further away now.
If anyone wants to dispose of almost worn out/on the wear limit 16" PE2s or PS3s then let me know, they're perfect for Autosolos!
