well today i broke down and car was completely dead, then looked under my bonnet and the aux belt had come off. so i rang the garage that fitted this 2 months ago and they came out and then told me a stone had knocked it off??? would this be likely or have they not put it on properly?? and could this be the answer to my car needing jumping att he time if the aux belt wasnt fitted properly and not charging the alternator????

Wouldnt have lasted that long if the aux belt was put on wrong.
Get them to check alternator pulley and PS pump properly before rebuilding your car.
Pay special attention to alternator pully.
