Found this on google

On my JVC there is an adjustment for the Aux.Input level.
Until I adjusted it so the ipod output matched the radio input levels I had the same problem.
Mean anything to you?

Also it's loud not load.

no if it is on full it isnt as load as playing a cd say the head unit was on 20 (sound level) and i played a cd and then a song through the aux the cd would be a lot louder than the aux

When in AUX press and hold the menu button. There will be a sub menu called Volume adj (or something similar) Turn it to +4. That will amplify your aux setting. Hope this helps.

jvc have an aux gain to make it louder in your settings. aux in is always quieter as your file quality is compressed compared to cd

on your ipod you will have mp3 compression which basically cuts out a lot of the "un-needed" frequencies needed on small sound systems/headphones

cd's will be in full wav format which has the whole spectrum of the frequencies but in turn will make around a 40mb file which is rather impractical.

for your car, mp3 will be fine and you won't notice much difference but if you listen on studio monitors or club sound systems you will notice a BIG difference.
