Car  Lots
Ok, so I've now had her detailed and sealed ahe looks great and I would like to keep her that way myself so what do I need to look a getting?
On my list I have,
Nilfisk Core 140-8,
Martin Cox Grit Guard x 2
Martin Cox 20 Litre White Detailing/Valeting Bucket x 2
Washer
Martin Cox Hydro Noodle Wash Mit
Am I just using microfiber cloths to dry her
I could do with a suggestion for a half decent foam lance please
Have I missed anything

Thanks,
Sean-f

Drying towel; I use this and it’s amazing.

Foam lance; they’re all much of a muchness. Don’t bother with a cheap eBay one they break. But a £30 Autosmart/Autoglym/branded one will be fine.

Shampoo?

Old bucket for wheel brushes.

Wheel brushes?

Tyre shine?

Trim gel?

Air freshener?

Glass cleaner / glass sealant

How far do you want to go??

You've got the main bits sorted. The two-bucket system with grit guards is spot on, and the Nilfisk is a solid washer. Really the main thing you're missing is car wash shampoo to go in those buckets—plain water won't do it. Microfiber for drying is right, just go gentle and press rather than rub. Foam lances have loads of options now that fit the Nilfisk. If you want the full rundown of getting it all working properly, I wrote it up here: https://answerlode.com/hobbies-leisure/car-detailing-starter-kit-essential-supplies/

I'm sure over 15months later, they have a kit sorted.
