Fake splits FTW, I've had one person comment about mine being fake and I've had them 6 months. as Bifcaids said, why spend over £3/400 for the fact they can be taken apart? Who cares?!

Thanks guy, and yes they are fake splits, but im student and cant justify spending so much on wheels,

if i had the money.... Id just buy a ph1 172

but please can we not turn this into a debate between fake and real splits!

hmmm i'll agree to disagree with you there...

but it all depends on your personal prefrence, purpose and how much you want to spend / can afford... obviously alot of people would love to have new bbs, borbets, schmidtz or whatever over the cheaper alternatives... but its not possible and it would be boring and common.

Is it scrapped because you couldn't repair the wheel locking problem you had that was mentioned in another thread?

gearbox hit the floor one night,

for some reason survived for an hour or so,
the dumped all the oil and seized up!

didnt want to repair it since im 21, and had the same 1.2 for 4 years,
plus didnt have any of the bits to make it back to a standard car,
so i broke it for parts!

we kicked the s**t out of it shortly before the scrappers picked it up
for old times sake

im sorry if ive let anyone down, but it was just time to move on!
