E Elliot Car Mk2 172 Jul 17, 2003 #11 Take it easy on then for the first hundred. Its not so much bedding in the compound, but bedding/sticking the tyre against the rim. You drive too badly for the first few miles and it might just pop off or collapse into the rim.
