Belts 1.2 16v

How do i know when the belts need changing on my car? And how often is it they should be changed on the 1.2?

Every 72000 miles or 5 years whichever is first.

Well there were no reciepts when i bought my car at 72,000 miles so i'm just wondering if theres a way to tell if they have been done or not? Cars currently at 92,000 miles

If you haven't got proof, then get it done bud. Not worth the risk.

ye thats what i was thinking, which ones are they that i'd need to get done? (sorry dont know much about the engine)

Cambelt, tensioner & aux belt. May as well change the water pump too, while that's all off.

as above, certainly would do the water pump at that mileage

Im getting cambelt and water pump done on friday, do i have to ask for tensioner and aux belt seperately or will it be included ?

^Tensioner comes in the cambelt kit. Have to ask for aux belt seperate.

a place in hull does them , n & p hire , its a garage , will be about 150ish i think all done
