best drop for my 172...??

hi just got me a 172 and think i need to lower it, something i always done to my rides. had coilovers before and to befair i think there to stiff so just going springs on the clio.... now i dont want it to go to low just take away abit of the gap betwwen the wheel arch. so i was thinkg maybe 30mm or 40mm springs all round but i noticed the front sit's abit lower so should i go 30mm on the front and 40mm on the back cause i hate it when i car dont sit level...lol thanks guys...
