best engine conversion

I know that a lot of people are going for the GTT conversion into their clios but what is the best engine conversions for any car.
I know there are infinate possibilities but which are the best in terms of difficulity to perform and the affects on handling etc

personally im a fan of the mini, whats the best engine youve seen in a mini ??

apparently someone I know has a 2.0 Civic VTEC Engine in his mini.. reckons quarter mile is about 11seconds..

does anybody know of any specific forums where people chat and sell their cars ?? or will i need to search forums like this one to find what im looking for. Im not 100% sure what im looking for yet but its gunna have to be light with a good engine. Any body raced a nova with a 2.0 16V engine in ?? would it beet a williams ??

Yeah it probably would beat a williams. I raced one and it blasted me. However on the twisties a 16v/willy should have the edge.

As a benchmark no williams has ever managed to get past me before 115 mph.

It also depends on the state of tune of the nova 2016v engine.

The weight and the cost of a nova with a conversion are very good but the fact its still a nova is a little off putting. An ideal car for me would be a small car which previously had a small engine and a low insurance group which has had a big engine put in and still handles relativley well.

Has anybody ever put a renault 21 turbo engine into a clio 175 BHP
