Best OEM(ish) head unit upgrade

  1eight2
My head unit keeps eating my c.d's and not spitting them out for a week or so, very frustrating!

I'm after upgrading but don't want some chavvy ripspeed thing which ejects c.d's buy lifting the head unit around the car whilst spraying blue lasers around the car...

Ideally OEM+ looking, with iPod connectivity. Not bothered about sub/amp connections.

You could just buy a oem disc changer, they are a really cheap fix for a broken cd player ;)

I've got a simple, modern looking, no frills head unit for sale. Comes complete with everything inc. manuals & original box. Fits straight into a 182 with no adaptors or anything. CD, radio & aux-in for ipod etc. Black with red illumination so suits the 182 perfectly. Nice improvement in sound quality over the standard renault HU too. As can be seen from the pics there's nothing remotely ripspeed/lasers/transformers about it either! It ejects CDs in what I can only describe as a "completely normal" manor with no faffing about. It also ejects CDs "on time" rather than a week later which may interest you.

Incidentally I think this looks more OEM and more subtle than the orange-illuminated alpine that I replaced it with.

Thanks for your advice guys. I've gone for an "Update list" head unit which is 100% OEM and an iPod cable.
