Best Oil for mk1 clio 1.4

Oil change time, as per title, but i remember someone saying that magnatec runs cr@p in clios but does it?
think i need 10w40?dont i?

That was the best Oil for my 1.2! :clown:
If I remember, they used the stuff that is listed in the handbook, which was nice.

They use duckhams, which is whats recommended, in the haynes manual.

Seemed to run nicely, and cant complain for the price they charge for oil + filter change. much easier handing the cash over than doing it yourself

so is it really £15 because thats well cheap i couldnt get oil and a filter from work for that!!bearing in mind i work at halfrauds so its not a surprise!

no it really is that cheap

make sure they drain the oil though and dont suck it out using a machine

Yep - might need a voucher out of paper for £15 tho.. altho they are in quite a bit (or used to be).

Think it goes up to £20 or something, but you get oil, filter, change, everything, sorted.
