Best overall exhaust for a 172 FF

The exhaust on my 172 had broken just as it meets the back box, so I'm in desperate need of a new exhuast. Whilst I'm tempted to get another one from Renault i do fancy getting something aftermarket. Which ones do people on here use? i've head bad things about the regular stuff like Blueflame or Magnex, and quite fancy something from maybe Yozzasport or a tailor made system. my only issue is the car is my daily driver so the exhaust can't be too loud, and I need one asap.

Sounds better than driving with half an exhaust which left me deaf in one ear!!!

Pro-speed (www.pro-speedexhausts.com) are what I went for when my exhaust failed at back end of November! I had the same worry about noise, it is more intrusive than the standard exhaust, but I like it, and I'm not a fan of booming exhausts! With custom, you can tell them what you want, and they can work around you...cat back for £318 if you mention CS. If you are willing to stay there a little longer, then they need a donor car for a lad in Ireland, so will use your car twice, but you should get a discount for the priviledge (sp)

The exhaust has a life time warranty (as do all others!) but for £40 you can change ownership which is a good salespoint for the car if/when you decide to sell up. You can also have stealth or cut out...dependant on how you want the exhaust to look!

i'm not nocking the prospeed exhausts but i also think there too boomy,they sound nice at full revs but imo are too noisy at low revs

Mine is'nt boomy at all. Prospeed gets my vote.

IMO the K-tec stealth is too boomy - defo way more than the exhaust I have now

ive got a k tech 182 replica and it looks pretty damn good better than the 182 infact and sounds perfect its quite then at high revs is abit louder it really is perfect, defo somthing you should check out if you like the 182 look.

Agreed :approve: When my exhaust goes I will prob get the 182 replica as it looks sweet.

i'm only going off the ones i've heard,there a lot louder than mine which is a custom chrome,i'd like fmp to get a btb done for the 172 i think the selection for the 172 is lacking
