As above. I now have a complete set of extra engine components, ready to be sent to a metal finishers. I've heard of people using a company in Nottingham? If so, do they provide a postage service?

I have a Plenum, Fuel Rail Guard and Upper Engine Mount/Pulley Cover. All need polishing to a mirror finish for Trax in September.

I also have a polished strut brace, strut covers, silver heat sheilding/bonnet lining and blue Samco.

Any help with the polishing side of things would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Impact Metal Polishers in Nottingham - 0115 987 9302

Give him a ring - hes a top bloke - really friendly - well into his bikes!

wont do between the letters though on the plenham - in fact youll have trouble finding anyone that will! its a nightmare - I got mine polished then finished between the letters myself.
he guy from pureflas is cool as well - spoken to him a few times.

Cant find anything to polish on my new car - bit dull really - getting loads of samco's made instead!

Middo,
Whats gaskets do you have to replace to remove these items or did you use the old gaskets (a no no)
If so do you have torque values for tighting things back up :p

you only have to replace the gaskets on the plenham where it joins the inlet manifold. but when I changed mine I didnt replace it and it was fine. Just be careful and you should be ok.
