Best/Preferred Insurance Providers List :)

  RS Meg 175
Hello people, i just went to renew the insurance and recieved quite a nasty shock lol, what do you guys think the best insurance company would be for Young Drivers and Modified Cars, not engine modifications, alloys etc. :p

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated
Thanks :D:D:D:D

Million dollar question mate, if you find out the answer let me know!! Priviledge are best for me so far, renewal is the 09th April, it all depends on postcode, age etc so what's good for one person may not be for another as I'm finding out!

Doing this will not get you any no claims bonus which means it will still be almost as high when you take out a policy on your own...just go on your own and take it for the first year or so...My first year was £2500 'cos i had 3 points and my car was slightly modded (im 19) and now its come down to £1300!! Im with norwich union doing the rapid bonus scheme...

I'm 28, my first car was an XR2, not a rocket nowadays but ten years ago after learning in a Micra it was, paid 600 quid to insure it, 8 years on, no accidents etc, full no claims, I still pay 600 quid (ok it's a 172 but it's no Porsche!!), can't work insurance out, and that's with the Mrs on my policy, it's near 800 without her!!
