Best way to spend £25?

I would definitely not say I'm into detailing, but I do enjoy a nice, clean car :star:

My routine is just jetwash, iron-x the wheels, Mer everything, tyre cleaner and restore the black plastic stuff.

It's my birthday next week and brother wants to know what to get me, he'll spend about £25 so what would be worth getting!? I was thinking something along the lines of an exhaust cleaner... I got a new system only a few months back and wanna keep it looking fresh. Open to suggestions!

Stop using Mer for a start!

If I was you i'd get some AF tripple or AG SRP new formula and some good quality MF cloths.

  A special one.
Oh and the Meg metal polish is very good or you could get the AF metal polish, i think they are both around the £10 mark.

  Golf GT & A4 Avant
Asda for some rapid dirt shifter and drying towel
Cleanyourcar for some Autofinesse tripple and GTechniqC2v3

No products for washing, I just blast it over the local jetwash! Then take it home for a polish...

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I'll have a look at all the products mentioned so far tomorrow :)

£12 on a Crate of Stella and £13 on a nice polish :) just don't drink too many Stella's get all messed up and end up polishing the car with the rest of the Stella's .... Man that was a wild night....

Shampoo and a Wash Mitt would be a good start it would seem.

Giving it a "blast" then taking it home for a polish is more likely than not going to cause more damage to your paint thus making it look worse eventually. If you truly want to improve the appearance and keep it that way you want to invest in a decent mitt, shampoo, drying towel and also some clay for a start. Otherwise you're better off using the £25 to pay for the Jetwash.

Thing is I don't really have a means of using water to wash my car at home lol, sounds weird, but it's awkward... hoping to get a driveway sorted soon then I might have half a chance. I've clayed my car a few times but when it ran out I didn't buy any more, probably should...
