Bit of a Dilemma...

I've got myself a new job in Bridgend, which will mean a 50 mile round trip for me everyday. I don't really want to hammer the Cup with that everyday, so was thinking along the lines of a "performance diesel". (The train station in Bridgend is a good few miles from where I will be based, so thats out of the question).

Should I keep the Cup? Or if not, any suggestions?

get a cheapish mk4 golf tdi... if you can, won't go wrong and loads of mpg. keep the cup for weekends

Thanks for the suggestions gents, although a second car is out of the question really...me and my partner had a baby boy 3 weeks ago!

I'd just keep the cup, as they have pretty good mpg returns and they aren't that expensive to run.

Or if you can afford both how about a Fabia VRS?
