Bitcoins (and other crypto currencies)

How do you know this?

If you don't believe me have a look online.

Its valid and the fact my friend got a nice fill in taxes from hmrc with coinbase.

Although not on the same line

I believe you, just wondered where the information was from.
I’ve only cashed out 12k this year anyway so I’m under the amount for CGT 😬

Big sell off happened again? Looks to have peaked above $40k over the weekend, then shed 25% of it's value over a 24 hour period.

Yeah but hardly surprising after the surge to $40k and probably benefitted us long term by showing such strength at $30k to not dip below.

Yea, unless it's a two-step slip, with the second one seeing it go back to the 15k ish area it was previously?

I think if there was another dip the strength would then be at $23k rather than $15k, either or wouldn’t be terrible in the grand scheme of things.

Wasn't too bothered about the slip considering how much it surged over the last month. Nice little correction to crypto tbh.

Seems to have levelled off nicely and started to climb slowly.

Well I wouldn't give it 8 attempts beforehand!

I nearly got locked out of binance last week. Remembered I had a coinbase account today and found a few quid in there too.
I need to wait to re varify my details now though. Once I've done that I'll look at what I can do with them. I've got some Ethereum and some bitcoin lite I think. Not much in each though.

Good god. If I was this guy, I don’t know how I wouldn’t go insane.

Surely you could promise some hackers a few million in return if they found a way in.

That Welsh guy that lost his hard drive in a landfill ha:mad:d the same number of Bitcoin

Quarter of a billion dollars

I don’t get why he threw it out it’s not like they take up space, I have 3 hard drives from laptops I’ve owned over the years, the first one dating back 15 years or so.

Anyone seen this pi network thing? You need an invite to sign up apparently but it’s mining on your phone, but not on your phone.

I haven’t a f**king clue tbh but I’ll look at some point tomorrow. Invite link below if anyone fancies taking a nosey.

I am sending you 1π! Pi is a new digital currency developed by Stanford PhDs, with over 10 million members worldwide. To claim your Pi, follow this link welshname and use my username (welshname) as your invitation code.

I've just signed up for this as well, why not. It seems more like a pyramid scheme at the moment though just getting loads of people to sign up, so can't see it really being of massive value to an individual.

Yeah but no one saw the point in Bitcoin when that was first a thing...

I’m not for one second saying it’ll be big, but it costs nothing to do so for now, why not?
Joined in on that notion. My name is StrellJoe if anyone wants to do that over the above =P

Why would you mine on a phone? wouldnt it be a lot more efficient on a PC or miner.

I cannot see the use at all at why you'd want to mine it.

Its ahead of bee by about 2 years too.

You could say that about so many coins tho, so many different ones have launched, but such a small number ever find traction.
Even fewer find an actual use.

Its not even mining, that's the ironic thing with PI and BEE.

There's some other phone based crypto mining coins.

Electronium springs to mind, at least it was that way when it launched. f**king worthless now mind.
