Myself and Joe (jrs182) decided to go on a little driving trip up to the lake district as we was told there are some epic roads up there. they didn't disappoint!
we left harlow around 3ish on a sat afternoon and got caught in the pi$$ing rain pretty much all the way but once up there we had nearly perfect weather with it raining one half day
we rented a lodge for the week in a place called thanet well which was lovely and was in the middle of nowhere. perfect as it was 12 mile to the nearest shop along a bendy country road! it really is a lovely place though. we hit all over kendal, windermere, penrith, kirkstone pass, ullswater etc. the views are amazing and if you want to get away or fancy epic road action then its well recommended im not that great at doing write ups so i'll let the pics do the talking:
the weather when we left
and the lodge we stayed at:
some pics of the views:
of course 2 blokes going away there never really was going to be much healthy living:
and managed to get a few good pics of the clios
hope you enjoyed looking,
mark.
