Megane 250
So I've been browsing this forum since i passed my test in 2011, always liked the Renaultsport range of cars.
Started off with a Saxo VTR, then bought another, then went back to my first, stripped it done a bit of track time, then fitted a 16v engine.
I then got a 106 GTi, similar spec to the saxo except full Gaz GHA suspension, Cammed JP4s engine, this was my daily but being completely stripped, no radio, no seats etc it was hard going and I would've fallen out with the car although it's a lot of fun so this is now a project/track car.
I needed a daily, that was relatively nippy and looked good and handled well to keep me amused. Clio 182 was the answer.
So I picked this up last Monday and give it its first clean yesterday.
It's lowered in coilovers, not sure which... Red springs? But I think the rear shocks are standard from looking under the car. Will double check all this when I get my jack back from a mate and can get it up in the air.
Miltek system and decat, had a look underneath and j can't see any marking or anything to say it is miltek or not.
Got the oz F1s on it and also a set of the anthracite 182 alloys which could do with a refurb.
Heko wind deflectors.
My plans are to keep it looking good and enjoy it daily, so I will be doing:
Smaller front plate/clean rear plate
New number plate light
Refurb headlights
Rear bumper respray
Identify coilovers, replace at some point although it does drive nice.
Set of 2118s or speedlines.
Identify exhaust, might replace this sounds good but wouldn't mind a little more tone to it.
RS Tuner and 98ron/pop and bang map
Spacers, rear rubs on hard corners etc
Aluminium foot rest/heel toe pedal
New mats
ABS ring as lights on
And that's all, really happy with the car, drives nice and handles pretty well.
Will update as I go along, won't be anywhere near as good as some of the builds on here.
