Black series Inner ARB bush

Hi All.

That pain in the arse Job of changing Inner ARB bushes.
The frame is off the car which makes it easier. I have managed to use the grips to squash it up but there appears to be a internal Gap on the bar!
I'm guessing this is not right?
Any ideas/Suggestions?

It looks like it’s not sat fully under the arb. Haven’t a clue how to rectify it though 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was thinking maybe to trim the black but so it tightens up a bit more.

That's what mine looks like, it looks like you've got the wrong size bush. IIRC the cup models have a 1mm thicker ARB

That’s a good shout, forgot there was two sizes.

Anti-roll bar bushing 23mm or 25mm?

Hi, I've seen comments on the forum about the 172/182s having a 25mm front inner ARB bush, and the 23mm's being the non-Sport. However, the part numbers seem to be identical: 7700847383 In my country I can find one that says it's 23.5mm, I just wonder if it's correct or not. And if it's not the...

I have got one in but the other one is being a git. I will have a look at that thread. I'm sure I gave them my number plate when I ordered them.
However they are black series so that's potentially an issue as well. After this game I might just put standard ones in

Missed the Edit time out.

My ARB is 25mm I just found the vernier so no idea why it's not working.

Iv given up for today, my hands are hurting 🤣 (Pussy) maybe I will just got back to standard ones, maybe the purple ones will be the same as the black.
