Blaupunkt Nav Unit

  Cupra K1 & Clio 200

Noticed that the price of these bad boys have dropped quite a lot, and was considering buying one. Model in question is the Travel Pilot DX-R52. Just wondering if they are a good idea for navigation purposes. Are they as good as GPS and how accurate are they. Also do they talk to you?! Thanks

thats what i was thinkin!! they have a crappy once in a lifetime signal and they track u there, and then navigate you using distance travalled!! Thats what i presume! oh and what are the maps like?! are they pretty good down to road/street level or are they a bit lackin?! thanks

So would you think its a worthwhile investment for me?! Ive currently got an Alpine CDA-9812RB that plays MP3s etc for long jouryneys which i do a lot, but i want navigation for when i make trips here and there. Also would you say this is a good HU to have an ICE install with?! Theres no dedicated sub out etc....cheers again
