blending window tints with car

im getting window tints in the next month and like the idea of the door pillars being like a glossy black so that the tints blend with the pillar. I know ktec do carbon fibre look door pillar but i think theyre over priced and wont do what im after. Basically i want somethnig very similar but in just black has any1 had any experience trying to find somewhere that does this or has a good idea for sorting it out?? I have a light blue car (no i dont want a black one!), any help appreciated.

You could buy a mk1 door pillar sticker and mod it to fit !! These are black rather then carbon grey and should be big enough to do yours !! Available from renault !!

My mate also owns a sticker company so im sure I could get you some black vinyl stickers to do the job !

aw now that would be mint...ill need it to look kind of glossy black so its shiny and so it covers whole door pillar. rekon itll look mint.

Yeah vinyl is really shiny !!! Itll all blend in !!

You would have to have really dark tints.

oo i dunno...i mean it looks ok with the carbon fibre pillars and not that dark... i do appreciate the comment though tom. Dont wanna have the look damaged but i guess it wont be hard to remove if it looks cack...what u think? Problem is that im going for legal tints...

unless you can match the vynl with the tint colour (a lighter grey shade)
