Bloody Magnex!!!

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4

Went to Demontweeks today to get a full magnex system fitted, 50 mile drive there, running late, got lost, bit of fancy work with the old 172 engine and the navigation got there in the nick of time. Good. Car up on the ramp, exhaust out, plenty of bubble wrap later we are looking good..... Then things went pear shaped, after about four different guys pointing at the underneath of the car a stroking their heads and generally looking puzzled, they make a phonecall to Magnex, (trying to figure out whats going on). Only to find out that Magnex have forgotten to weld the connecing bolt bracket onto the beginning of the exhaust system. ARSE!!! Gotta go back on thursday now. Also, saw a cup on the way in (if it was one of you guys).

They probably could have, but its not a good join then, so i am happier that they decided to re-order the correct part and connect it properly.

Yep, that was mine gaz.

Thats the fella, I think youll be happy with it. I know myself, telford_mike and Hippychick are very happy with ours.

Its very boomy for the first 3-400 miles I found, after that it just sounds spot on. :D

I think the twin round suits the mk2 but I prefer the oval on the Mk1.

Cheers I2ich16v-

By the way, some more pictures of the exhaust on my website. http://www.leemather.plus.comhttp://www.leemather.plus.com
