Has any one else had a similar problem? or should i try diffrent pads?

^^^^ Yep bin them pads. For track use I only use carbotech pads no matter how much abuse they get they don't fade, they are expensive but they give me total confidence every time I hit the brakes even after 25-30 mins on track. If I was you I'd also be tempted with braided brake lines also.

Phone Ian direct at carbotech http://www.carbotech-europe.com/ I run xp8 compound up front which is perfect for smaller cars. I use them on the Clio because I also run them on the Evo X and if you check out the MLR forum the comments speak for themselves.
Dont worry if your car is not listed on the website all you do is send him some old knackered pads off your car and he'll use the backing plate to mount your brake compound of choice to.
I see you where thinking of Ds2500's I've heard good things about them but never used them Check out this thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?649284-Carbotech&highlight=Carbotech might be worth asking Steve as he's used carbotechs and might give you an idea how they compare to other pads, I did try EBC NDX bluestuff pads and they where the biggest waste of money ever oh we'll you live and learn :D
