BOING! spring colour codes?

morning,

quick one really, ive read on here that to tell the difference between cup springs and non-cup springs they have 2 colour coded stripes?

could someone let me know what they are please and where on the spring they are roughly (i.e. will i have to take it apart or is it a case of full lock and ill be able to see?)

p.s. ive already done a search and couldnt find the answer so dont shoot!

am trying to find out 2,been told my 182 not got cup packs not sure my rear springs have white n red on them not sure its cup springs

To be honest, I thought the 182 and 182 Cup both shared the same springs, it's just the shock absorber that is valved slightly different.

Cup springs are marked white and yellow I believe. Should be back of the spring towards the top iirc.

172 cup = yellow and white

the others - just white i think

just looked at my front spring has blue and yellow on it,y didnt renault paint none cup black cup red or yellow
