Bonnet/Front Bumper Respray - Mids

Hi there,

Was thinking of treating my 172 to a bonnet and front bumper respray in Iceberg silver (OE colour) to rid it off the few stone chips and other debris its collected in its short life.

Anybody know anywhere in the midlands that can do a very good job, but at a decent price - and what is a decent price for such work.

Nothing major just the odd chip, and indents on the bumper where its been hit by grit.

Im based at Leicester/Coventry/Hinckley area if anybody has any knowledge of local spray establishments.

i know a very good one in Birmingham, but they're not cheap

ozz, u will be wasting money on a full front respray if u want to keep within a suitable budget.

There is a place in Coventry, a bit like chips away, but actually have a workshop u can go to.

Ive seen there work and there quotes are very good.

Gimme a PM if u fancy a trip over to them, worth a quote!

Well what am i looking at paying for a bonnet/front bumper respray then?

Even just the chips removing i'd settle for tbh if it could be done in a good way.

well i took mine down tothem for a quote

Remove/Fill (whatever it needed) to remove front stone chips.
few scratches round the car
cover up a paint crack
door edges

They quoted me £175

There was a LOT of work to do on the front due to stone chips.

Ah right, well thats a reasonable quote for the amount of work. Did it look spot on?

i didnt have all of it done in the end,

They did the work i needed and it looked spot on!!

They showed me the work they were currently doing in the shop, and it was quite good, much better then the chips away stuff ive seen.
