bonnet problem

The sodding bonnet on my clio 172 wont open, pulling the interior bonnet release works but when you press the lever under the bonnet its a no go. Can it be fixed easy?

Is this a common problem? My mates sisters standard clio did the samething.

take it too renault and say its playing up and mention the product recall thing.

yes take it to renault, they will have to fix it free of charge, as the recall on bonnet locking mechanisms is quite serious. just bok it in for a bonnet catch recall and they will sort it out

just tried to mine open and had the same problem, I'l pop in tomorrow see if they can sort it

seems every service they do this check for FREE, so must be serious....

They do it more than that. I had a bonnet replaced under warranty, 4 weeks later they wanted it in to check the catch.
