book time for removing and fitting exhaust manifold

I guess it would be same for a turbo manifold, if only slightly quicker/longer.

I need to get a gasket fitted and have the turbo serviced, so trying not to get ripped off.

I was quoted 190 for removal and refitting. at £35/hr labour.

Thats a bit steap then again space on your cars limited and its not exactly a book engine is it.

Get in about it yourself Dave, fitting a gasket should be piss easy. How come the turbocharger needs a service? Should be good for thousands of miles.

dont have my trolley jack and axle stands. I dont think the turbo was looked after by previous owner, there is not turbo timer, so i think the bearings have been damaged due to not letting it cool down properly.

Anything invloving servicing/turbos etc is usually expensive
