Brake calliper problems - opinions needed!

Ok, turns out my brembos are a pain in the arse and need sorting out at the cost of £450ish (new discs included in that price)

Howeveeeer, I could get a standard set of callipers and discs for a lot less and then I'd be able to run a track set of 15's with nice and cheap semi slicks whereas now 16" is the smallest that will fit.

What would you guys recommend? I know standard callipers are good, but I'm a tool and love having brembos so stuck trying to decide which route to take

Don't mean to be blunt but you know what you can afford and its your car...

Personally though i agree the brembos look very nice.. but cost a bomb

so i would buy a brand new standard setup

They needed new pads/discs which work out quite expensive and also a new shim as they weren't aligned quite right so the inside edge wore faster than the outer. I have gone back to standard now, the prospect of track 15's with cheap slicks ultimately made my mind up. There is nothing wrong with the brembo callipers, they will probably be up for sale shortly!
