Decided to give the rear wheels a going over today and to also try out a bit of claying and poorboys wheel sealant.
I knew the backs of my wheels were still rather grubby from last times attempt:
I decided to use a bit of AG E&MC which did a good job at removing most of the dirt but not all of it.
Hopefully when I get a pressure washer on them on Sunday afternoon/evening I might be able to blast most of it off. SO I didnt bother polishing or sealing the backs as it'll just end up coming off at the weekend and don't really want to seal all that crap in!
I'm not sure if I have a build up of brake dust or a little corrosion or both on the fronts of the wheels. Hopefully somebody could tell me?
I used AG intensive tar remover but found that it did soften some of them slightly but alot of them were still very stubborn.
I was thinking about using something like 'Wonder Wheels' as a one off to really clean them up as they haven't been cared for brilliantly by previous owners. I know these products are quite acidic and constant use is not recommended.
Would something like WW achieve what I'm after which is effectively to clean as much as possible brake dust, tar and other crap off the wheels before caring for them properly.
Thanks in advance
