Brake fluid sealed in mk1?

Am I right in thinking that the whole brake fluid system is sealed and therefore shouldn't be and couldn't be topped up? :S

Wrong.

The brake fluid should be changed every so often and if there was a leak it should be fixed and the fluid level reset , so therefore the system is not sealed .

Changed every 2 year i believe

Brake resovoir is by the o/s suspension turret, has a wire and plug goign into the cap
