Brake problem

My mate has a 2003 Clio 172 non cup , he replaced his disks and pads recently with oe renault jobbies , but he told me that when he tightened up the Callipers the disk wouldn't spin freely and was really solid , he recons he wound the piston back all the way too ........tis it !? Lol

should spin unless one of the pads are in skew... or the wrong pads have been used...

Was handbrake off when he tried spinning? Might seem silly but I've read worse

It was the front mate , they would spin freely until the last few turns of the calliper bolt

Are the slider pins moving freely?

He thinks so , do they need adjustment ?

Anti-rattle springs sat correctly and not in the examination window? It's a common mistake

I will ask him , I'm guessing that's the spring on the pads ?
