Brakes - yuk!

Its been done.. and Im so close to doing it - even have the Hammerite Ready! Thing is, once its done.. that colours on.. and you cant go back to standard easily.. (without buying new calipers!).

So Im making sure I dont change my mind after its done - think I will go ahead tho.. search forum, lots of cars been done! And pics..

On your Flame Red tho, dunno which colour would suit it the most!

but arent the calipers iron? As in pourous? The first coat actually sank in, I used hammerite spray to do mine, real easy, 3 coats should do it. Just wire brush the calipers, clean off with brake cleaner, mask brake lines/discs etc. then paint.

Thought about doing this to mine. They now look so grubby and dont clean very well.

Biggest problem is what colour??

What colour goes with what colour...if you know what i mean.

as long as its on the face of the disk it will dissapear as soon as you plant the brake pedal.

zodiac51, that looks really nice, I personally dont like it when people paint there calipers a different colour to the car (unless you paint them black/silver)
