Break Grinding

  Ibiza FR
I've been having a few problems with my front breaks atm, and just want them sorted.

The main problem is that the front offside break grinds/scrapes creating a loud noise while breaking hard to slow down. The sound is just annoying now, and it actually makes me embarresed to drive through town and break!

Also, when breakng lightly, both front breaks squeel and squeek. I have bought some copper grease to put around the pads, as i've been told it stops the squeeking. Correct?

I took the front wheels off yesterday, and saw that the pads still have alot of life left in them, so i dismissed that idea for now. Could it be a stone between the pad and disc or something similar?

Im looking for a simple solution really, but if nothing prevails then I guess I will have to take it to a garage to look at it.

Cheers
