brembo disks and 2500 pads binding!

just fitted some of these to my 172... filled the lugs, removed the shims, made sure ive got 1mm verticle movement, test drove and was binding, removed the pads, filled a flat and removed teh odd mm of material.. still got a bind...... i think or it seems when i reverse and then go forward it un binds..

suggestions anyone??? coud take a few mill off the pads,, they are really quite thick!

took a few more mill off the pads.... went for a drive still slight binding, seesm to release going backward.... pads probably have about 2mm verticle play in the calipers when cold... should i ease a bit more off the nobly bits?
also ive left the spring retainers on should these be removed?/
yes ive removed all the shims
