Unfortunately, my brother managed somehow to snap the front splitter of the Mk3 Dynamique SX on a kerb, not sure how as the car still hasn't been lowered and therefore sits pretty high. Anyway its broken into 3 clear separate pieces that fit back together in position, not sure if this kind of thing can be fixed, i.e. fibreglassing the behind and sanding down to respray etc and try to remove any witness line from where the breaks were.
Been to renault and they want in excess of £220 for a new one ready and sprayed in pearl black, which I don't really want to be paying.
Anyone have any advise on going about repairing it, is it possible as a DIY job or best done and paid for a professional to do to get an adequate job?
