the Ecu has no power looks like a wiring fault, will wait and see what the next fone call brings!

That strut isn't doin much. With the omp ones your supposed to take the rubber mounts off then slid the circle bits on the end of the brace over that then holds the top of the wheel arche and the shocks in place. Your one will only be holding shocks which will move anyway as the body will still flex.

Better than cup would be some solid braces from the brace the wheel arch somehow, like maybe a gallows bracket for extra strength.will be noticeably stiffer then and will be better than the OMP ones or any other I've see to be honest

well my car runs, allbeit VERY lumpy but im gonna get it home check all the connections im thinking ive got a sensor throwing a wobbly so we'll see how the weekend goes,

Just put another engine in a punto t gt was running quite lumpy and cut out a few times turned out to be a an earth on the side of the block not bolted on properyl durrr lol I just traced the loom back maybe worth a check?

yep turned out the 'specialist' didnt spot the firing order was wrong,

changed an exhaust mount last nite, lowered it saturday, MOT being booked for saturday i reckon,

belated update, :
MOT passed
decat re sealed with new clamp (standard ones are awful,)
one stub axle was longer than the other (5mm cup?) and the wheels looked like the axle was bent,
got the stub axle machined down fitted a new rear bearing as id got a suspect whining
which i thought was a cv joint but now it seems to be front bearings which i got pressed yesterday and im refitting both front hubs 2nite,
also got new pads as one spring was bust and it was stting loose, greenstuff from YS
and a K-tec dogbone goin on it later too, god knows what else i'll change but it will be like a new car come marham!
