I'm back from the dead to drop in and check Tony is ok! I was at Segrave when it happened, I've never seen a tank slapper at those speeds before!
Looked nice (and rapid) beforehand though...

Much hammering needed. It fits where it touches, just about lol.

Mark has the roll centre kit in hand, so hopefully will get that back soon, then I can get it back on is wheels and checked for any hidden damage, I've had a quick look underneath, but it needs to go up on a ramp really, and get the tape measure out.

Tried to create an optical illusion, it sort of hide the dents a bit.

It'll do anyway.

Bit of a pi55er, Mark cant meet me tomorrow with my new hub and roll centre kit, so now it's Monday.

I really need to get this thing back on it's wheels for a proper look underneath.

Tony do you have any close up pictures of how your Pas pump is mounted? Bought the same one from icemans old car, unsure where to mount it.

I looked through the build thread, picture have now gone.

Here is the text from that page though, and I'll take a pic next time I'm in the workshop.

Refitting the PAS pump required some cutting to the upper gearbox mount. This doubles as the battery tray in the road car. It was a very tight fit on the track car but this time we could make enough space to clear the pump reservoir. The pump is an electric/hydraulic unit from a late Citroen Saxo/Peugeot 106 so the car retains the stock hydraulic steering rack but the electric pump provides the pressure instead of the Clio’s usual belt driven pump. It worked fantastically well on the track car. **

  Whichever has fuel
You've got some work cut out for you old boy!
Worst thing I did was re-shell my car. Taken about 4 years and I've still not finished it!

But you is a couch Potato.

Looks good. Give me a shout if you want a hand, I have a couple of spare weekends approaching (not this one coming though).
Won't be just yet Olive, October time after Oulton.

Shell not salvageable then Tony?

I think so James, but every time I jack it up, it's leaving a pile of rust on the floor lol, so I think it's time it was changed.
Send me your number for tomorrow.

Was gonna ask if the shell was bent or if you doing it for more of a refresh. So is this a winter project or starting asap,

Not really sure about the shell yet Sonny, but I could do with it being not too bad, to see me the year out.
As long as I can get it to drive straight (ish), then that'll do for now.

As said, we will have a go at it after Oulton, if I do the winter race in November, then the Pug baby burp will come out to play.
Porkys old cup !?

Ph1 FTW 😧

Not Porkys old shell.

I'm afraid the ph1 is nearly dead. 😧

Update.
I now have the new hub kit ( thanks Mark northlop) for the quick turnaround on this. Also met James (mini182) to collect Dinger Daves gearbox.
The plan came together nicely, so all sorted on that front.

Took the new shell down to JJ MOTORSPORT near High Wycombe yesterday, A to hand Dinger his box,

B, to get the cage altered to my liking.
These boys do a top job, so can't wait to get it back, then start drilling holes.
Up to my eyes in campers.and VIPS at the moment, so not much will get done for 5 days or so.

Also got a 3 inch orange TRS 6 point harness for sale, ideal trackday belt. Out of date for racing.

Own a bit of history £80 ish+p&p

Race 2 looked fun,
I had to stop watching after the near rear entry into James Breeze, lol
Its doesnt look as planted on the front end as it did before, certainly time for that new shell I reckon,
Well done

Not sure what it is Dave, I lowered the rear end 2 turns, to try and stabilise the rear end, it's taken some weight off the front.
James braked sooner than I tight, caught me out lol.

At about 11 mins when we were lapping the coupes , I actually clipped the front of Jon Winters car whilst switching to the inside!
