Burpspeed Version 2: Race Car Build

  182cup & 172 racecar
Felt good Martin.
Freds done a good job on it, and Paul completely re mapped it from scratch.

I like a bit of fun. :)

I know mate, it will be a shame.

But every dog has it's day, and I thinks Burps just about done now. :(

Race 2 was great fun :) :)

Thanks Olive, it was great fun.
I enjoyed all the ducking and diving, bobbing and weaving, didn't like the going off bit, but hey, you have to have a go.
James, Andrew and myself really enjoyed it. Looking forward to Combe this weekend. :)

The end.
Suspected clutch failure.

@Tony Hunter - it was good to see you at the weekend mate, although it was gutting to see you pull off to the infield just shy of finishing race 2. It was also great to see just how helpful the drivers and their 'crews' are when competitors (friends) need assistance. I hope the damage is nothing more serious than clutch failure.

Apologies for the spamming but here's a selection of photos from the day:

Well thats it for Big Burp in ph1 spec.
Oulton is now over and out, bit of a mixed weekend, but had some great fun in the process.
Shame we had a little coming together in race 1 on the 1st corner! But these things happen, plus, it was my corner and I don't back out.
Kevin had a good view of it all.

Manage to get back past a few, but the pace was blistering and the n/s front was toeing in 7mm! turned in a treat lol.

Russ was the man of the day, kept John Whelan and his rapid 306 honest, but the Irishman was on fire.

Lots of cable ties, and a little kicking saw the car ready for race 2, thanks to Mike for his help (with the kicking)

He didn't mention the rugby (not much he didn't)

Race 2

This was a slight procession really, the top 3/4 cars moving away from us slightly, leaving the rest of us playing follow the leader, each waiting for somebody else to make a mistake.
Mr Whelans rapid 306!
lapping at 1.56

Don't get me wrong, this was far from boring, we were lapping in the 1.58s, the fastest I've ever been around Oulton, so was good fun.

Simon in the Saxo was having an indifferent day for a change, but with 12 wins this year, I think he's allowed one off day, but we were on the hunt after another fast 205, which we both eventually caught and passed through Nickerbrook.
Me and Mr Jones

The 3 of us were tied together for the rest of the race, and managed to avoid one another to the line.
Great days racing as always with the FRENCH TROPHY TRACK ATTACK boys.

Brilliant season guys.
Bye bye Burp

I might of lied a little.
Big burp is still stuck on the trailer, Snett is looming faster than an express train, work is still mental, and I havent got my new shell back yet!
So he might as well get one last airing, Snett has got some long straights, and the pug is flat in 5th in a few places with me cursing as we go along at a afternoon drive pace.

We'll see on the Friday before I leave, as to whats on the trailer at the time.
