Buzzing when locking Cup

After checking the oil today on my new Cup I activated the alarm as per normal and after a few seconds I get a constant buzzing noise. I have made sure all the doors, boot and bonnet are shut but the bloody thing still goes off! Is this a fault with the alarm or is there something obvious Im not doing? The manual states that you will get this noise if any of the doors, boot or bonnet are not shut properly but they are!

Looks like the first vist to Renault on Monday then and the car has only done 380 miles!

Might have knocked the bonnet sensor?

If I have knocked the bonnet sensor where it is and is it repairable by me or would Renault need to take a look?

the bonnet sensor is on the right hand side of the car. to the right of the viper and next to the revolution sticker. grey in colour.

It was the first time I opened the bonnet today and the stupid thing breaks already

Does it need to be taken to Renault then for them to look at?

DOH! The bonnet sensor had simply come out of its hole. Put it back in and it works again! Silly me but thanks for the obvious advise guys.
