Caining it hard

Never heard that before. 5.1 worked fine in my last car, even on track, same fluid for 3 years.


Fitted yellows the other day is the standard pads were shockingly bad, faded so easily. Yellows don't feel that great to start with, but once you have had them on fire once, they are really good after that. Excellent bite and wont fade. I wouldn't bother with greens, as the yellows work so good from cold and last ages.

Dont use the hand brake. Leave it in Reverse - when ever you park it...

That is the most stupid piece of advice i have ever heard!

leave it in 1st yes, but not reverse. it will seriously screw your engine if it rolls in reverse.

Ok for some reason I got into the habit of leaving it in 2nd! Will leave it in first now though.

depends how far you cooked them, mine regularly fade quite a bit when hammering it but once i boiled the fluid, pedal went to the floor and done nothing coming to a corner, had to drop it into 2nd at 65mph then first at 30 to slow the thing down in time for a tight blind corner! my disks went a funny purple colour after that lol, it was then i decided it was time to uprate everything brake related! pads, disks, hoses, fluid lol

if u boiled the fluid tho its recomended you change it
