Caliper Colours?

What are peoples opinions on painted calipers? i'm kind of thinking of painting mine.
This is on a totally standard 172 cup in mondial Blue.

Any suggestions on what would look good. (not tacky)
Was thinking of maybe silver?
Any pics would be good if any of you have painted them on your 'cups'

Also what colour are they when new?

i think the silver will look good, or i did see one with gloss black and that looked surprisingly good! the old cliche of red is always a safe one, or something a little different. (controversial comment coming...) i did see one with electric pink! and it looked awesome! strange i know but it did! haha

Just painted mine red i was thinking about ether Red,Yellow or Blue the clio sport colours, went for the safe option Red and i think they look Mint better than the rusty old look they were

I've seen someone on here (they posted a thread) with theirs painted yellow (on a blue 172 cup).

Ive had silver with my silver wheels and black with my black wheels. Both were done with Hammerite smooth and look great!

im going to paint mine blue on my silver clio.
any ideas how long does it take for the paint to dry properly (or the car alrite to drive) after the 2 coats of paint?

I would at least leave it overnight before driving.
