I'd be happy if they get it so we can choose from a decent variety of guns and not be at a massive disadvantage because they're not the current meta.

Yeah same, I had been enjoying the stoner before the DMR became the meta. I think I’m going to be using either amax/FFAR for duos/trios and the bruen for quads.

Odd as is may sound I like all the c**k teasing removed so you can just get on with it, either kill or be killed and it’s over nice and quick. Not a fan of drawn out battles as impatient. I get how it gets peoples backs up but it works well for me.

Just needs a hardcore mode for ya then haha. At least the other guns would be usable still.

Been grinding the Amax the past few days, glad I have been now

Want to unlock the Grau but it's a bit of a pain to unlock imo

I was using the AS-VAL for a short while just before the CW guns came over and will probably run that again as a secondary if the other guns get nerfed badly.

Not sure primary yet the Amax definitely rips just wish it had more ammo. M16 seemed okay so might get that fully leveled too. Good thing if the guns get more balanced you can switch stuff about and still have fun.

The other benefit of levelling the guns is it forces you to play as a team more, because each person on the team has differing loadouts tuned into certain roles. Either a sniper and AR. Or sniper and SMG or AR and SMG or AR and RPG for example.

So you get a team with a mix of those who are suited to pushing and those who give over watch at range.

As opposed to everyone running a loadout which lets you do both (DMR / Mac10 or Diamatti), with a strong emphasis on one “play style”.

This game was always enjoyable because of the team play and tactics or different play styles in solo needed dependant on your loadout choice, so getting back to that will be nice.

I know, that was a really good game. For some reason I forgot to hit record on that game, I just hit instant replay when we won which saves the last 5 minutes.

The nerf doesn’t seem to have made much difference, still DMR’s all over the place doing significant damage. Although I was hit 3 times with one before armor was off so clearly less damage inflicted than before which is a bonus.

They say that all press is positive good/bad so I reckon they might be milking this for that exact reason. Let’s face it, they can tweak the game 24/7

Yep DMR is still the best gun. Dropped an 11 bomb with it just then and didn't feel much different. It's no longer a 2 shot kill though to the head, takes 3 shots now. Recoil didn't feel that much worse though.
