Calling tuning experts for 172 sport

HI again, not been on here for 6 or 7 months.

Think i am keeping the car a bit longer so need advice

I have a few mods but would like a manifold, sports cat and ecu should be able to get 190 bhp i would have thought. where can i get a manifold and will the new 182 one fit on ?

Romer, did you get 200 bhp in the end ?

Hill Power will do your manifold and an Rsport ECU. k-tec have the sports cat. 190 should be about right.

If your going for big power gains like that I wouldnt piss arounf with a Rsport to be honest. Get a Unichip (setup on a dastek RR) or a SMT6 piggyback ECU.

And Ditch the CAT compleatly, its cheaper and you get better power gains.

Roamer got 212bhp in the end, with further mods to come IIRC.

If you dont want the hassle of changing the cat come MOT time get the sports cat, otherwise get a decat for maximum increases.

you need headwork, cam, exhaust, chip and decat to get 190. M@ttew had all that done at hillpower and got 190 at the fly.
