Cam belt change Newcastle

Need my cam belt doing asap.

Renault want £700. Tried to haggle them down to effectively £500 (£600 all in with brake fluid at £29.95 and coolant change at £74.99) but they weren't having it.

I got quoted £350 at that Renault specialists next to the Metro Arena - anyone have it's name and/or number?.

In two minds as to go with these guys or try it on with Renault for £600 cambelt and brakes only?

£350 seems a bit cheap for all the kit, aux belt and labour.

Cars on 48k and 49 months old.

i wonder if they fit my aux belt kit to my car is on 45k and its only 20 months old,my quote for the aux belt kit fitted was 300 and i thought that was really steep

rico, I got my aux belt done with my 36k service for £270 all in at Renault. That was with me supplying my own oil though. They wanted £340 all in with their oil.

Getting belt down again as it's best to when getting cambelt done.
