Cam belt kit & water pump, Fan belt kit & dephaser pulley change in south wales

hi guys

its time to have my belts n pulleys etc changed.
ive managed to source all the genuine Renault parts myself, so im now looking for a good garage in the south wales area that knows what there doing to fit them for me, my usual garage for work that cant be done at my m8s garage is French Auto Solutions in Pontypool who are good but very expensive at times, ive just got off the phone to them and there quote for fitting the above was £396 which seems a lot to me???

so does anyone know of any good garages in and around south wales that's not gonna rape my wallet! lol

French auto solutions! My oh my.

Theirs a chap in goytre that's told me he's capable of it as he was building an engine. 360 Motorsport or something it was called. Don't quote me on him mind you..! Other than him or the local cwmbran garages that seem too 'think' they can do it there's not alot about tbh.

You could try Dan (as above) or 2nd closest is BTM I think? What ever you decide just make sure you get it done propely.

I think nearest specialist is Gloucester/Tewkesbury - cooksport. Mine needs doing too was thinking of giving them a go. Reputation seems good.

So I Went to Dan at SJM to have the parts mentioned above changed for pretty much half my local garage quote & happy days the lads a legend!!!!! Sound to chat to very knowledgeable an dropped me over a shopping centre while he worked on my baby so happy days, rang me when it was done an picked me up! Can't say fairer than that so nice one Dan!! Drove home bought an hour an half an she seems smoother now and ran fine didn miss a beat so looks like all is good as last timing done i got about an hour out the car before she gave up bless her!!
You are my timing go to guy an I also have a ph1 sport so ill b coming to you for timing on that too!!! Thanks again!!


will be steering clear of TDF in future, they ain't replied to emails regards to getting ITB's done since about feb onwards i think but ok might be busy but selling me an engine when specifically asked has the timing been done an running well to which I got a "yes" found out from dan my timing was a mile out so I must have some god looking over me to stop the engine dying happening to me 2nd time in the space of a year due to garages not doing timing right!!!
