Can someone help me please on fogs?

Hey guys.

I do alot of night time driving through roads with woods on each side and always put on my fog lights to light up any deers or animals but one has stopped working I could just replace the bulb but they aint as bright as I want them to be so the question is, If i got HID in my fogs will it melt the plastic? (Thats what I have been told)

Could always find some nice bright LED fogs?

Wouldn't have a heat problem then.

I have had them and they didnt really interest me so if I put some nice bright white HIDs in their would I have a heat problem. Thats all I wanna know.

Why do you need your fog lights on? Use your high beam. If your high beam is piss poor, get OSRAM Nightbreaker Unlimited bulbs. See for miles then. Better than if you put HIDs in your fogs too.

And no, you can't put HIDs in your high beam as the ballasts don't being switched on and off repeatedly.
