car back from hillpower after cam/auxbelt change

hi folks,

dead happy just got my 172 back from nick at hillpower after having cam/auxbelts changed, had done 47000 miles without the auxbelt being changed! oops!! the belts looked in pretty good condition the pre tensioners were totally f**ked auxbelt tensioner was knackered!!

the engine sounds so much more smoother and dead quiet now
i would defo take your car to nick at hill power if you live near the midlands!!

he's not the cheapest but you have to pay for good results!!

cambelt kit is £124.91
auxbelt kit including idle bearing and tensioners £69
but i had the whole lot changing the auxbelt alone is around £16

labour was 6hrs at £37.5= £225

£418.91 in total if you have everything changed i was also going to have the waterpump changed but nick said it was in very good condition

i had i quote from renault in notts For £450 with waterpump but decided they would probably f**k it up lol
