car went to reno today only for passanger side arch was rubbing and now they told me it needs a new auxilery belt and anoter one forgot the name of it any ways if it breaks it wont run end off its only an 05 182 anybody else had this problem all done under warrenty though so not tht worried
its done about 21000 miles

Aux belt is a consumable afaik, so it won't be done under warranty... sure edde can tell ya tho.

What do you mean by pass side arch is rubbing?

Is it lowered?

Are your springs snapped making the tyre rub the arch?

Is the arch loose and has come away rubbing on your tyre~?

well they told me it would so i anit paying s**t its was something to do with the alternator belt

Sounds like your top mount was catching. As regards the belt ring enault Uk its supposed to be fine for 36k changing its a 2.1 hour job the belts onyl a few quid though. Say to Renault its not fit for purpoise if it only last 21k. Get it chnaged though if they say it needs it as if it fails it 99% of the time wrecks the cambelt and the whole engine realy.
