clio 172 ph2
Hi all,
im wondering if its common for the carbon canister to fail?
Failing as in venting carbon dust into the inlet via the vent hose...
I recentlyremoved the upper inlet on my ph2 172 and found enough black stuff to be worried about.
It seems to come (or go) from the breather pipe on the upper inlet to the carbon canister.
It very dusty and only on the upper side of the inlet, lower inlet looks pretty clear.
I was able to clean it all out withe some WD40 and lots of paper towel but i was not able to run the car yet since then.
Can i just block of the vent pipe on the engine?
Thanks,
Dentillozie
